Quick Answer

Venice Electric Pink Contact Lenses are a saturated hot pink with a thin black rim, so they read graphic rather than soft. If you want your eyes to carry the photo, this is the pair.

What the Shade Looks Like

Up close, the base is a true vivid pink with a magenta lean — candy, not blush. Color is fullest through the center-to-mid area and softens toward the pupil, so the blend looks natural instead of cut out. The surface is smooth and even, with no dot or mesh pattern, which keeps the finish flat and painted.

The defining detail is the edge. A slim black ring traces the outer border and frames the pink in a clean outline. Read that dark rim as the frame, not the main color — the pink is still the story.

What to Wear With Pink

1. Black and Chrome. Leather moto jacket, ribbed black tank, straight black denim, chunky silver hoops. Swap in a satin slip dress at night and the pink does the drama for you.

2. Soft Neutrals. Cream denim, an oatmeal cardigan, a tan trench, a plain white tee. Small gold hoops warm up the pink without competing with it.

3. Tonal Pink Layering. A fuchsia blazer over a pale pink tee, a rose satin midi skirt, white sneakers — one tonal story that still feels wearable.

Where They Fit

Concerts, festival weekends, Halloween and cosplay shoots, birthday photos, camera-heavy nights out. They also suit a creative office, weekend brunch, or a travel day that needs one loud detail.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with a caveat. On weekends, errands, and creative workplaces they add instant personality. For conservative offices, client meetings, or family events where you would rather blend in, save them for later; the pink and black rim want to be noticed.

FAQ

What color are these pink contact lenses? The iris is a saturated hot pink with a slight magenta lean, edged by a thin black rim. Up close the color looks painted and even, not dotted.

What should I wear with them? Black leather with silver hardware makes the pink pop hardest. For something softer, try cream denim, a white tee, and gold accents.

Can I wear them every day? Yes for casual days, creative settings, and photos. They are a statement pair, so skip them when the room calls for understated.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
