Quick answer
Twilight Star Sage Green Contact Lenses are a soft blue-green pair with a blended edge — a calm way to try green contact lenses when you want a cooler iris, not a costume green.
What the Shade Looks Like
The base is sage-teal: green with a clear blue lean, never yellow or neon. Color clears around the pupil so your own iris shows through, then builds gently through the center-to-mid zone and eases off at the outer edge.
There’s no hard rim and no thick graphic ring — the edge just softens, which is what keeps it reading like an iris. The surface looks smooth and even, with a faint fine grain rather than bold printed dots or a high-shine finish.
What to Wear With Green
-
Cream and Oatmeal — a cream poplin shirt, chunky oatmeal cardigan, brushed gold hoops, tan leather flats.
-
White and Denim — a crisp white tee, light-wash straight jeans, silver hoops, off-white canvas sneakers.
-
Olive and Cocoa — an olive silk slip skirt, cocoa merino crewneck, bronze chain necklace, taupe shoulder bag.
Where They Fit
Work video calls, weekend errands, long travel days, dinner photos, or a party where you skip a full face. Cosplay works too, but this pair is happiest in quiet daylight with minimal makeup.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes — this is an everyday pair. It sits well with bare skin and a swipe of mascara, and it doesn’t fight a neutral wardrobe. Skip it when you need a tint nobody notices; the green does show in bright sun.
FAQ
What color are these green contact lenses? A muted sage-teal — blue-green in daylight, deeper indoors, with no black rim.
What should I wear with them? Warm neutrals like cream, oatmeal and cocoa, or crisp white with light denim. Silver and gold both work.
Can I wear them every day? Yes, for most everyday settings. They look most natural with light makeup and daytime light.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
