Quick Answer
Tinsel Toffee Brown Contact Lenses are a deep cocoa pair with a fine dotted mesh and a softly deepened edge. The effect is 2000s pop-glam — a warmer, richer eye that photographs like it caught the flash.
What the Shade Looks Like
The base is a saturated chocolate brown, deepest through the center and easing outward with no hard stop between tones. A fine dotted mesh runs across the mid-field and softens that transition. The outer edge is the defining detail: it deepens into a soft dark rim that frames the brown rather than dominating it. No graphic print, no sparkle — dense brown and one quiet edge.
What to Wear With Brown
1. Frosted Y2K Glam. Pale pink baby tee, low-rise bootcut denim, a cropped cardigan, silver hoops, frosted pink shadow and a high-shine lip gloss. Thin brows and a sweep of cheek frost finish it.
2. Velour and Clips. An espresso velour zip hoodie over a white ribbed tank, a terrycloth mini and tiny claw clips in the hair, with a brown-pink lip. The softest way to wear this shade.
3. After-Dark Satin. Black satin slip dress, leather blazer, silver chain necklace and smudged brown liner. Cool metals keep the warm brown sharp instead of sweet.
Where They Fit
Birthday dinners, flash-photo nights, concerts, cosplay styling and party pictures — anywhere the eye should carry the look. For errands and desk days, keep the makeup light and the brown reads polished rather than loud.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes, with one rule: let the eye be the statement. Bare skin and balm on a Tuesday, frost and gloss for the weekend. It never tips into costume.
FAQ
What color are these brown contact lenses? A deep cocoa brown with a dotted mesh mid-field and a soft dark rim defining the edge.
What do I wear with them? Cool-toned makeup — frosted pink shadow, silver hoops — or black satin for contrast. Tonal brown clothing keeps it soft.
Can I wear them daily? Most days, yes, if the rest of your makeup stays low-key. Save the full frost-and-gloss look for photos and nights out.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
