Quick answer

Sunroom Caramel Brown Contact Lenses are a warm caramel brown with a clear center and a soft dotted blend — everyday brown contact lenses rather than a costume color.

What the Shade Looks Like

The center sits open around the pupil, warms into a mid-tone caramel brown, deepens slightly through the middle of the iris, then thins toward the edge. There is no dark rim, just a soft dissolve into your natural iris. The pattern is a fine dotted mesh, evenly packed points of pigment instead of fibers or marbling. In daylight the finish looks smooth and faintly reflective, never glassy, and the full coverage still reads like a believable warm brown.

What to Wear With Brown

1. Quiet neutrals. Oatmeal knit, cream denim, beige linen, tan trench, brushed gold hoops, tinted moisturizer and clear balm.

2. Deep contrast. Charcoal blazer, black turtleneck, dark indigo denim, cream bronzer instead of a winged liner.

3. Denim and warm metals. Light-wash denim jacket, white tee, terracotta accents, copper jewelry, peach blush, nude-pink lip.

Where They Fit

Office days, coffee runs, travel and dinner — anywhere you want a warmer, more awake version of your own eye color. They photograph evenly for portraits, and they also ground a party or cosplay look without competing with a bold outfit.

Everyday Wear: Yes

This is an everyday brown, not an occasion brown. It stays believable with minimal makeup in natural daylight. It is less convincing when you want high drama — heavy smokey lids or a bold red lip pull attention away from the soft blend.

FAQ

What color are these lenses? A warm caramel brown with a clear center and a soft dotted middle, and no dark outer ring.

What do brown contact lenses go with? Cream, oatmeal, camel, olive, denim and charcoal. Gold and copper flatter the warmth; silver reads cooler.

Can I wear them every day? Yes, with light makeup. Save the heavy liner and dark lids for your bolder pairs.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
