Quick Answer

Summer Galaxy Azure Blue Contact Lenses are a vivid azure blue lens with a fine dot-mesh pattern that reads bright in photos and gentler in daylight. Treat them as styling, not a permanent color change.

What the Shade Looks Like

The base color is a saturated azure blue — cooler than navy, brighter than slate. Around the clear center, the blue lifts into a pale, hazy halo, then deepens as it moves toward the edge.

The pattern is a fine dot mesh: tiny pinpricks in soft radial lines that fan out from the middle, so the surface never looks flat. A slim, slightly deeper rim closes the edge, soft rather than hard-lined. One small highlight catches the light, keeping it glassy in photos.

What to Wear With Blue

Blue lenses look most intentional against clean, decided color:

1. Denim monochrome. Light-wash denim jacket, white ribbed tank, chambray shirt tucked into straight jeans, silver hoops.

2. Cool neutrals. Charcoal wool blazer, ivory silk camisole, black slip dress, pearl studs, matte grey bag.

3. Warm contrast. Camel coat, cream cable knit, tan leather boots, gold hoops — warm neutrals make azure look brighter, not washed out.

Where They Fit

Reach for them for a night out, a concert, a rooftop dinner, party photos, or a cosplay look where the eyes carry the outfit. They also hold up on a workday if the styling is deliberate: blazer, button-down, minimal makeup. On travel days, save them for evening.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes — these are everyday blue contact lenses with one condition. They work any day you want a visibly blue eye and build the outfit around it. Skip them for bare, no-makeup-visible days or very soft neutral makeup; a blue this saturated will not read as subtle.

FAQ

What color are these blue contact lenses? A vivid azure blue with a pale, misty haze near the center that deepens into a slim blue rim.

What should I wear with them? Denim, charcoal, ivory, black, and silver are simplest; camel and cream make the blue pop harder.

Are they everyday or costume lenses? Both. A blazer and simple makeup read everyday; heavy liner or a costume reads party. The dot-mesh pattern shows either way.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
