Quick answer

Static Meadow Green Contact Lenses are a diffused green lens with a lighter center that deepens into mossy olive — the kind of green contact lenses that stay fresh by day and frosty under flash.

What the Shade Looks Like

The base is a clear grassy green, not a deep forest tone. The center reads lighter and slightly translucent, then the color builds into olive green across the middle. There is no dotted ring or printed mesh, and no mirrored highlight — just a soft, diffused wash of green over the iris. No hard rim closes the design; the color softens toward the edge, so it looks natural in sunlight.

What to Wear With Green

1. Low-rise denim and a baby tee. Faded blue denim, a white ribbed tee and a slim silver belt keep it casual; add frosty highlighter, thin brows, clear gloss.

2. Sage satin and warm gold. A satin slip in sage, pistachio or milk chocolate brings out the olive; small gold hoops and a glossy nude lip finish it.

3. Black, charcoal and a glossy lip. For night, all black with charcoal liner smudged at the lash line and a glossy berry lip.

Where They Fit

Camera-flash weekends: a birthday dinner, a dorm photo session, a party where everyone dressed up. They also work on a cafe workday with a knit and mascara. Cosplay works too if the character is green-eyed; the styling here stays pop-glam, not costume.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes — the soft blend and missing rim keep them wearable on a Tuesday with jeans and mascara. They lean cool, so keep makeup neutral to blend and heavier liner to land.

FAQ

What color are these green contact lenses? A fresh moss green — lighter at the center, deepening into olive, with no dark rim.

What should I wear with them? Faded denim and white, sage satin, or all black with a glossy lip; silver and gold both work.

Can I wear them every day? Yes — sheer enough for daytime, and the charcoal liner can wait for evenings.

  • Don't reuse contact lens solution.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
