Quick answer

Static Frost Praline Brown Contact Lenses are a light camel-brown pair with a soft fade from a denser center into a milky edge. That fade is what keeps them 2000s pop-glam instead of a hard color block.

What the Shade Looks Like

The close-up shows a light camel base that turns praline brown through the middle of the lens. Color sits most heavily around the pupil, then opens into a lighter, milkier brown that thins toward the outer iris. There is no heavy dark rim and no graphic print — the coverage dissolves into an even, softly dotted fade instead of stopping. The finish reads diffused, not wet or mirror-glossy, so it stays wearable in daylight and flattering under flash.

What to Wear With Brown

1. Low-rise and frost. Pale-wash low-rise denim, a cropped white baby tee, thin silver hoops and clear gloss. Cool denim against praline brown stays bright instead of muddy.

2. Pink velour, softer flash. Baby-pink velour zip hoodie, terry-cloth headband, frosted pink shadow and thin brows. Pink keeps the brown syrupy; skip rust tones.

3. Chocolate leather and chrome. A bitter-chocolate leather jacket, satin slip skirt, silver chain belt and chrome-finish shadow. Dark leather deepens the lens and the metal keeps it cool.

Where They Fit

Office days, travel, brunch, and any group photo where the flash will fire. Because the fade is soft, these behave like everyday brown contact lenses rather than a costume pair, and a Y2K-themed party or cosplay styling scene works whenever you want warm, light eyes without a theatrical graphic.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes — with one caveat. The wash is light and warm, so it fits work, travel and daily wear. For an obvious shift on naturally dark eyes, a denser brown does more.

FAQ

What color are these brown contact lenses? A light camel brown that shifts into praline, with a soft fade and no dark outer ring.

What should I pair with them? Pale denim, white, baby pink and silver are easiest; chocolate leather and chrome-finish makeup add evening depth.

Can I wear them every day? Yes — subtle warmth on dark eyes, clearer light brown on lighter eyes.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
