Quick Answer
Soda Pop Lilac Purple Contact Lenses are a cool lilac-violet pair with a milky center that deepens to a true purple edge — full Y2K pop-glam in one step.
What the Shade Looks Like
Up close it’s a cool purple, not a pink pretending to be one. The center is the lightest point — a soft milky lilac — and it deepens in a smooth fade to a richer violet at the edge, with no hard band and no dark rim. The finish looks even and powdery rather than glassy. Coverage is strong, so these purple contact lenses read saturated in flash photos.
What to Wear With Purple
Cool lilac loves clean neutrals and silver — and black.
-
Low-rise denim, white tee. Medium-wash low-rise jeans, a ribbed white baby tee, a cropped denim jacket and thin silver hoops; keep the lip glossy.
-
Black satin, baby pink. A satin slip dress, a fluffy pink cardigan, silver straps and bubblegum gloss — moody instead of sweet.
-
Grey knit, charcoal trousers. A heather grey knit over a lavender cami, charcoal wide-legs, white sneakers and stacked silver rings.
Where They Fit
Coffee runs, class and camera-happy nights all suit this shade. With grey knitwear it works in a relaxed office, and it’s an easy pick for birthdays, concerts and photo booths, where flash does half the styling. Halloween and cosplay nights work too, without a full costume.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes — one condition: keep the rest of the face simple. Grey, white, black and silver keep this lilac purple wearable on a Tuesday; glossy lips and blush are enough. Heavy tailoring and bright color belong to the weekend.
FAQ
What color are these purple contact lenses? A cool lilac-violet: milky purple in the center, deepening to a richer violet at the edge, with no dark rim.
What should I wear with them? Low-rise denim and a white tee by day, black satin and baby pink at night, grey and charcoal for something quieter.
Are they too bold for everyday? Not with a neutral outfit — the color is even and strong, so it reads clearly purple up close, and silver jewelry keeps it grounded.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
