Quick answer
Snow Romantic Cloud Grey Contact Lenses are a cool, misty grey with a soft, unfenced edge — grey contact lenses that add quiet depth to your own eye color instead of a flat wash.
What the Shade Looks Like
Up close the lens is a smoky mid-grey: slightly deeper around the pupil, mistier through the middle of the iris, then a slow fade outward with no hard rim. There is no drawn pattern or metallic shine — just an even grey field that softens into your natural iris edge.
What to Wear With Grey
1. Cool monochrome. A white poplin shirt, charcoal wool trousers and a silver chain. The grey in your eyes echoes the tailoring instead of fighting it.
2. Warm neutrals. An oatmeal ribbed knit, faded blue jeans and a camel trench. Small gold hoops warm the face.
3. Soft evening smoke. A dove-grey slip dress, a thin black blazer and pewter jewelry — dressier without full glam.
Where They Fit
This is a daylight lens. It looks best in natural light and in casual photos where you want definition around the eye without a dramatic change. A first date, a weekend trip or a low-key party suits it. For cosplay it can pass as a cool-toned character eye, but it is not a bold costume color.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes — this is an easy everyday grey. Bare skin, tinted moisturizer and mascara make it look intentional. It is not high-impact, though: if you want a grey that reads across the room, pick something denser. Bright sun makes it look lighter and cooler than indoors.
FAQ
What color are these grey contact lenses? A cool, smoky mid-grey with a misty fade and no defined outer rim.
What should I pair with them? Cool monochrome, warm oatmeal-and-denim neutrals, or a dove-grey evening look; silver and pewter metals flatter grey most.
Can I wear them every day? Yes, with minimal makeup — they are simply quieter than a bold color lens.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
