Smoky Silver — silver colored contacts, smoky silver contacts, grey contacts
A cool, moonlit grey with a smoky, ethereal finish, Smoky Silver reads like liquid metal across the iris. The design layers a soft, pearlescent silver core that subtly brightens the pupil area, transitioning into a muted charcoal halo with delicate radial striations that mimic natural iris texture. Flecks of frost-like shimmer catch light at different angles, giving the eye a luminous, multi-dimensional glow without appearing harsh. The outer ring is gently diffused rather than stark, producing a blended, smoky silhouette that enhances eye shape while maintaining an elegant, modern edge. Overall the effect is refined and cinematic — a neutral yet striking silver that feels both futuristic and wearable.
Smoky Silver is perfect for styling moments where a cool, sophisticated gaze is the goal. For editorial shoots and runway looks it offers a contemporary, high-fashion finish that photographs beautifully under mixed lighting, adding subtle highlights and depth in close-ups. In evening and nightlife settings the silvery sheen reads dramatic and alluring, pairing especially well with metallic fabrics, smoky eye makeup, and structured silhouettes. For cosplay and fantasy characters, these lenses create a spectral, otherworldly presence — ideal for androids, ice-royalty, or enigmatic mystics who need a luminous, almost supernatural stare. They also suit minimalist, modern wardrobes: pair with monochrome pieces and clean lines to let the eyes become the focal point, or combine with soft pastels for a cooler, ethereal contrast.
Styling suggestions include balancing the cool tone with warm hair accents (honey blonde or copper highlights) for a striking juxtaposition, or keeping a monochrome cool palette with slate greys and blacks for a sleek, editorial look. Makeup can range from dramatic smoky eyes to crisp graphic liner; for daytime wear, soften surrounding makeup with neutral skin tones and a light sheen to keep the overall impression effortless yet polished. Whether used to elevate a fashion-forward outfit, anchor a character role, or add a luminous twist to an evening look, Smoky Silver delivers a versatile, attention‑grabbing finish that reads modern, mysterious, and undeniably chic.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
