Quick answer

Sienna Bloom Amber Orange Contact Lenses are a warm amber-orange pair with a fine dotted print and a soft dark rim — vivid enough to anchor a look, easy enough for a normal day.

What the Shade Looks Like

The close-up shows a dark pupil opening into a peach-amber center, blending into a deeper orange-brown mid iris and closing with a dark brown-to-black rim that softens at the edge.

Zoom in and a fine, evenly spaced dotted halftone covers the graphic — no streaks, no flat wash. A soft white crescent highlight in the product shot reads as a catchlight on the worn eye. Coverage is medium-to-full, so the amber-orange holds to the edge. Shopping orange contact lenses for warm rather than neon? This is that register.

What to Wear With Orange

1. Warm neutrals. Cream ribbed knit, camel coat, chocolate bag, brushed gold hoops — one family, and the orange looks deliberate.

2. Olive and denim. Olive cargos, a moss cardigan, white tee, light-wash denim, brass chain. Green sits across the wheel, so the iris lifts on its own.

3. Black and bronze. Black slip dress, bronze statement earrings, heavy chain. The lens’s dark rim echoes the black and the look turns evening.

Where They Fit

Brunch, class, travel days, golden-hour portraits, and nights out where your eyes carry the makeup. They also suit warm-toned cosplay and photo shoots.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, this is an everyday pair — the orange is built on brown, so it sits easily with simple makeup. Skip them for a bare, no-makeup look; at this coverage they always read as styled.

FAQ

What color are these lenses? A warm amber-orange: a peach-amber center, an orange-brown middle, a dark brown-to-black rim, and a fine dotted texture.

What should I wear with orange contact lenses? Cream and camel for an easy edit, olive or green for contrast, black with bronze for evening.

Can I wear them every day? Yes — keep the rest of your makeup warm and skip them on bare-faced days.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
