Quick answer
Seville Lace Azure Blue Contact Lenses are a medium azure blue lens with a fine dot mesh and a feathered outer edge. They are blue contact lenses that read as polish, not costume.
What the Shade Looks Like
Up close, the base is a saturated medium azure blue — closer to bright cornflower than deep navy. The design is a dense dot mesh: tiny, evenly spaced dots that merge into a smooth wash from a normal distance. The middle stays clearer, so your own iris shows through. Toward the outer edge the blue thins and dissolves instead of finishing in a dark ring, and the surface has no glossy sheen.
What to Wear With Blue
-
Quiet neutrals: white cotton tee, straight-leg jeans, oatmeal cardigan, small gold hoops. Let blue be the only bright note.
-
Cool evening: black silk shirt, charcoal trousers, brushed silver jewelry, cream trench. Blue on black reads modern.
-
Soft weekend: pale denim, white linen shirt, tan sandals, canvas tote.
Where They Fit
Desk days, video calls, brunch, travel and dinner. They also work as a styling piece for parties or cosplay with cool-toned makeup, though the design itself stays natural.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes, with one honest note: this is a clear medium blue, not a whisper of tint. It wears easily with neutrals for work and weekends. Skip it for strictly formal settings where color on the face feels like too much.
FAQ
What color are these? A medium azure blue with a fine dotted mesh — clearer in the middle, feathered at the edge, no dark ring.
What pairs with blue contact lenses? Neutrals first — white, cream, grey, denim, black — plus one cool accent like silver or slate.
Can I wear them every day? Yes. The mesh is fine enough to look natural in daylight, though the blue is bold enough to be noticed.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
