Quick Answer

Pixel Bloom Blush Pink Contact Lenses are a soft rosy pink lens with a fine dot-mesh pattern and no hard outer ring, so they add a flushed pink edge without covering your natural color. For pink contact lenses that read styled rather than costumed, start here.

What the Shade Looks Like

The base is blush pink: warmer than lilac, cooler than peach. Color sits heaviest at the outer edge and thins toward the middle, so the center stays light. A fine pixel-dot mesh runs through it, tight near the rim and looser across the center. No hard black ring, no heavy shine — just a low, even sheen. Daylight reads dusty rose; under ring light it turns clearly pinker.

What to Wear With Pink

1. Soft alt everyday. Cropped black baby tee, washed grey denim, thin silver chain, brown smudged wing, one coat of mascara.

2. Graphic and glossy. Oversized graphic hoodie, pleated mini skirt, platform boots, pink cream blush, black wing flicked past the outer corner.

3. Neutral contrast. Cream knit sweater, khaki cargos, matte taupe shadow, no liner — the pink stays the loudest color in the frame.

Where They Fit

Most at home in ring-light selfies, concert lighting and late-night hangs; easy to style for cosplay and party photos.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes — when your makeup is already graphic. On a bare face the pink reads stylized, so reach for them on liner days.

FAQ

Are these pink or brown? Pink: a blush rose with a deeper edge and a light center that lets your own iris warm the effect.

What makeup goes with them? Graphic black liner, chunky lashes and pink cream blush. With pink contact lenses, keep shadow neutral so the lens stays the loudest thing in frame.

Can they look natural? Yes — skip liner, use brown mascara and a sheer tint, and the dot-mesh texture reads like a soft flush.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
