Quick answer

Peony Star Pink Brown Contact Lenses are an everyday rosy brown pair: pink-leaning at the center, deepening into a soft brown edge, with a fine dot pattern that blends into your own iris. If you want brown contact lenses that read as depth rather than a visible circle, this is the pair.

What the Shade Looks Like

In the close-up, the base is a muted rosy mocha, not flat chocolate. The center stays lighter and slightly translucent, then deepens toward the outer edge. The pattern is a dense, even stipple of tiny dots across the whole lens, with no lines or graphic shapes. A soft highlight near the upper left gives the surface a light wet gloss, and the rim is a gentle brown halo rather than a hard black ring.

What to Wear With Pink Brown

1. Bare-Skin Daytime — cream ribbed knit, oatmeal wide-leg trousers, tan loafers, small gold hoops. The pink undertone picks up the warmth in the knit.

2. Soft Office Polish — camel blazer over a white tee, dark straight-leg denim, brown leather belt, pearl studs. Keep shadow to a wash of taupe so the dots stay the focus.

3. Evening Warmth — dusty rose silk slip, chocolate suede jacket, brushed gold cuff, glossy nude-brown lip.

Where They Fit

Real days: a coffee run with sunscreen and no foundation, a desk day, a long train ride, dinner with friends, and photos where you don’t want a costume look. They also work as the eyes-only part of a soft party or cosplay look — satin blouse, bare face, nothing character-specific.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes. The shade is quiet enough for work and bare-face mornings, and it adds warmth in photos without a visible lens edge. If you want zero color shift at all, save them for evenings and weekends.

FAQ

What color are these lenses, exactly? A pink-leaning brown: light rosy brown at the center, a soft brown outer ring, with fine dots throughout.

What should I wear with brown contact lenses in this shade? Cream, oatmeal, camel, chocolate, and dusty rose, with gold or pearl metals to keep the tone warm.

Are they everyday-friendly? Yes — the pattern is fine and blended, so daylight reads it as natural depth, not a colored circle.

  • We recommend a rub and rinse before soaking soft lenses for a minimum of 6 hours in their container.
  • Don't wear contact lenses overnight.
  • Don't wear your contact lenses in the shower or while swimming.
  • Don't reuse contact lens solution.

  • Replace your contact lens case every two to three months.
  • Take out your contacts if they are bothering you.
  • Never use saliva as a wetting agent.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
