Quick answer

Pearl Lily White Contact Lenses are a milky, softly diffused white that lifts the eye with a frosted finish instead of a flat, painted-on look. They suit anyone who wants white contact lenses that read editorial, not costume.

What the Shade Looks Like

In the close-up, the base is a cool, clean white with a faint pearl undertone. The center lightens into a soft luminous core, then the color breaks into a fine, airy dot mesh, so the white diffuses outward rather than forming one solid block. A gentle highlight sits across the pupil area, and the rim is feathered rather than sharp.

What to Wear With White

1. Tonal Cream and Bone. A ribbed cream knit, bone-white wide-leg trousers, and a camel trench keep it soft and expensive-looking. Brushed silver or pearl-drop earrings finish it.

2. Charcoal and Ink. A charcoal blazer, a plain white tee, and black straight denim make the lens the focal point. Add a thin silver chain and matte black boots.

3. Silver and Ice Blue. An icy blue satin slip dress with a silver cuff and a pale grey coat turns the lens into part of a cool, frosty palette. Good for winter parties.

Where They Fit

These work for office days, travel, evening photos, holiday parties, and cosplay where a pale, otherworldly eye is the goal. For a no-makeup morning, skip them if you want zero attention on your eyes.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one caveat. They sit easily with soft neutral makeup and simple outfits. Against bare lids and a bold red lip they can drift costumey, so keep the lip muted and the skin fresh.

FAQ

What color are these lenses? They are a milky white with a soft luminous center and a feathered translucent edge, so the effect is frosted rather than flat.

What should I pair with white contact lenses? Tonal creams, charcoal, silver, and ice blue all flatter this shade. Keep metals cool and fabrics softly matte.

Can I wear them daily? Yes, for most everyday and work settings. Save the boldest styling for parties and photos, where the frosty center reads best.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
