Quick answer

Nebula Breeze Blue Contact Lenses are a deep, luminous blue with a soft speckled center and no hard outer rim. They read as styling, not as a new eye color.

What the Shade Looks Like

Up close the base is a saturated midnight blue, closer to a night sky than a bright pool blue. The center sits deepest, then opens into a brighter sapphire mid-field scattered with fine flecks of lighter blue. Those flecks are small and irregular rather than a printed dot grid. There’s no defined dark rim — the outer edge fades through softer tones, so the lens never looks stamped on. No mirror gloss either; the interest comes from color and depth.

What to Wear With Blue

1. Oatmeal and denim. A slubby oatmeal tee, straight-leg mid-blue jeans, gold hoops, bare lip. Warm neutrals keep the blue from going icy.

2. Black slip and silver. A black satin slip dress with silver hoops and a sheer berry stain — silver sits beside deep blue better than gold.

3. Cream knit and espresso. A cream ribbed knit, espresso trousers, and soft brown liner smudged at the lash line for a no-makeup-makeup finish.

Where They Fit

Desk days with a plain white shirt, weekend coffee runs, travel photos that need one strong detail. They hold up at a party too, but nothing in the design needs a costume to make sense.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one honest note. At arm’s length these look like a rich, natural-leaning blue; up close, the saturation makes it clear you’re wearing blue contact lenses. Keep the face quiet and they’re easy to repeat all week.

FAQ

What color are they? Deep midnight blue lifting into sapphire at the middle, with fine lighter flecks and no dark rim.

What should I wear with them? Warm neutrals — oatmeal, cream, camel — plus black with silver or denim with gold.

Are they everyday? Yes for work and errands; for evening, let the blue be the only loud thing you’re wearing.

  • Don't wear your contact lenses in the shower or while swimming.
  • Don't reuse contact lens solution.

  • Take out your contacts if they are bothering you.
  • Never use saliva as a wetting agent.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
