Quick Answer
Morning Linen Mocha Brown Contact Lenses are a deep mocha brown with a blended center-to-edge fade, made for bare skin and quiet everyday styling. If you want brown contact lenses that read like depth rather than a costume, start here.
What the Shade Looks Like
The base is a rich mocha brown, deepest around the pupil, then lighter through the mid zone before it feathers out. There is no dark outer rim and no hard edge — the color simply dissolves into your own iris.
The surface is smooth: no dot mesh, no glitter, no heavy gloss, just an even wash with a little depth in the middle.
What to Wear With Brown
Deep brown flatters warm neutrals, so keep the palette calm and let texture talk.
-
Oatmeal and Cream: oatmeal linen blazer, cream ribbed knit, tan loafers, small gold hoops.
-
Denim and White: straight-leg denim, a plain white tee, silver studs, a canvas tote.
-
Black and Charcoal: black turtleneck, charcoal wool blazer, matte skin, a sweep of bronze shadow.
Where They Fit
Desk days, video calls, Sunday brunch, airport mornings and casual photos. They also make a soft base for a party or cosplay look when you want the outfit to carry the drama.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes, this is an everyday brown lens. It suits bare skin and minimal makeup; it is less convincing if you want a bright, high-contrast eye.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
