Quick Answer
Mob Wife Smoke Grey Contact Lenses are soft, rimless grey contact lenses with a luxe, mob-wife mood. They look expensive and slightly smoky.
What the Shade Looks Like
The base is a cool, medium grey. The center-to-mid transition is clear and smooth, with no speckled dot pattern or mesh texture. There is no dark outer rim, so the grey fades softly into your natural eye. The finish reads matte-soft, with no mirror-like shine.
What to Wear With Grey
-
Leopard and Gold: Leopard silk blouse, black leather trousers, gold hoops, chunky cuff.
-
Bronze and Cream: Bronzed skin, cream slip dress, layered gold chains, faux fur jacket.
-
Black and Charcoal: Charcoal blazer, black turtleneck, silver chain, heavy lashes, pointed boots.
Where They Fit
These lenses fit a candlelit dinner, a night out, a photo shoot, or a cosplay styling moment. They also work for travel and work with polished, neutral makeup. They are not a sporty or no-makeup lens.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes, you can wear these grey contact lenses every day, but they lean glam. They work best with balanced makeup and simple outfits; they may feel like too much if you go bare-faced. If you want an everyday grey, this is a wearable one.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
