Quick Answer

Milan Spring Apricot Brown Contact Lenses are soft-glam brown lenses with a warm apricot base, a clear center, and a diffused edge that fades instead of framing. They look polished on camera and still like you.

What the Shade Looks Like

The base is a milky apricot-brown, warmer and lighter than mocha, with a peach undertone. The center stays clear, so your pupil shows through and the middle of the eye reads open. Color melts outward in a soft gradient: no hard outline, no dark ring, no visible dot or mesh pattern. The finish is satin, not wet gloss. Nothing anchors the edge, so the shade blends into your natural iris instead of drawing a circle around it.

What to Wear With Brown

1. Bridal neutrals. Ivory silk, champagne satin, pearl drops, soft brown shadow, rose-gold jewelry. Keep liner thin and let fluttery lashes work.

2. Soft-glam evening. Chocolate slip dress, camel coat, bronze shimmer on the lids, gold cuff. Warm lens, warm metal, one story.

3. Daytime polish. Oatmeal knit, cream trench, camel trousers, tan leather bag, glossy nude lip, brushed-gold studs.

Where They Fit

Brunch, the office, and travel days when you want to look awake in photos. For parties and formal evenings, add a defined lash line and let the apricot tone glow. Cosplay works if the character runs warm-eyed, but this lens is built for real life first.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one caveat. The apricot tone is soft enough for work, class, or a coffee date. Skip it with heavy black liner or a charcoal smoky eye — the warm base and cool liner fight. On bare-skin days, add blush and gloss and it settles in.

FAQ

What color are these lenses? A warm apricot-brown with a clear center and a soft diffused edge — brown first, with a peach glow in daylight.

Can I wear them every day? Yes — they suit daytime and camera-ready evenings; just keep your makeup in the same warm family.

  • Don't wear your contact lenses in the shower or while swimming.
  • Don't reuse contact lens solution.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
