Quick answer
Milan Rose Pink Contact Lenses are an everyday pink that flatters bare skin — soft for the office, polished enough to feel intentional.
What the Shade Looks Like
The base is a pale dusty rose, not a candy pink. A fine dot mesh runs from the pupil outward, so the color builds in layers instead of one solid ring. The dots stay dense in the middle and feather at the edge, where the rim sits just a shade deeper — a soft grey-pink border that keeps the finish from looking drawn on. A small highlight catches the light across the surface and keeps the eye looking awake.
What to Wear With Pink
Pink lenses are easier to style than people think.
-
Cream and camel. An oatmeal crewneck, a camel wool coat, tan leather boots, gold hoops — warm neutrals keep the rose soft.
-
Charcoal and white. A grey blazer, a plain white tee, dark denim, silver earrings — cool tones push the pink brighter.
-
Denim and blush. Light-wash jeans, a pale pink knit, a thin silver chain, canvas sneakers — tone-on-tone and easy.
Where They Fit
A normal Tuesday. A coffee run with no makeup on. A brunch that runs into an afternoon walk. A travel day when you want awake eyes in photos. A low-key dinner that still feels like effort.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes, with one condition: keep eye makeup light. Tinted moisturizer, cream blush, and clear brow gel pair with them nicely, while a heavy smoky eye buries the rose. So this is a daily shade — just let the pink do the talking.
FAQ
What color are Milan Rose Pink Contact Lenses? A soft dusty rose with a fine dotted texture and a slightly deeper grey-pink rim. It reads as a wash of pink over the iris, not bright candy pink.
How do I style pink contact lenses? Warm neutrals — cream, oatmeal, camel, gold — keep the look soft, while charcoal, white, and silver make the pink read brighter.
Can you wear them every day? Yes. They suit bare or barely-made-up skin, so keep eye makeup minimal and let the rose carry the look.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
