Red Rim Ice Blue Colored Contacts

A Striking Fusion of Fire and Ice

Ignite your gaze with the bold and unforgettable Red Rim Ice Blue Colored Contacts. These lenses are designed for the daring, offering a dramatic contrast that immediately captures attention. By combining the piercing chill of arctic blue with the fiery intensity of a crimson border, this design creates a supernatural aesthetic perfect for characters who walk the line between good and evil.

This isn’t just a blue lens; it’s a statement. The unique red limbal ring frames the iris, adding definition and an eerie, captivating depth that standard lenses simply cannot match. Whether you are building a creature of the night or a futuristic cyborg, these lenses provide the ultimate finishing touch.

Why You Need Red Rim Ice Blue Colored Contacts

High-Contrast “Halo” Effect
The magic of this lens lies in its duality. The primary color is a vivid, opaque ice blue that covers dark eyes effectively, delivering a piercing, crystalline look. This is sharply contrasted by a thin, defined red outer ring. This “halo” effect makes the blue pop even more intensely while giving the eye a surreal, almost glowing appearance often seen in anime and fantasy illustrations.

Intense Character Transformation
These lenses are a staple for edgy and intense character designs. The red rim adds a hint of danger or supernatural power, making them ideal for vampires, demons, possessed characters, or sci-fi androids. They transform a standard blue eye into something uncanny and powerful, perfect for elevating your makeup artistry.

Vivid Opacity on All Eye Colors
Worried about your dark brown eyes showing through? These lenses feature high-opacity pigmentation. The ice blue is dense enough to completely mask the underlying eye color, ensuring that the striking blue-and-red combination remains true and vibrant, regardless of your natural shade.

Perfect For Every Occasion

  • Vampire & Demon Cosplay: The red rim hints at bloodlust or supernatural energy, perfect for modern vampire lore.
  • Anime & Manga Characters: Replicate the stylized eyes of your favorite yandere or supernatural anime characters with precision.
  • Halloween & SFX Makeup: The perfect addition to zombies, white walkers with a twist, or icy sorcerers.
  • Cyberpunk Aesthetics: Create a futuristic, synthetic android look that stands out under neon lights.

Dare to be different. Step into the clash of elements with Red Rim Ice Blue Colored Contacts.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
