Quick Answer
Linen Jacquard White Contact Lenses are a soft, dotted white-grey pair that keeps the eye looking light and cool in daylight without a hard outline — an easy way to wear white contact lenses daily.
What the Shade Looks Like
The base is a milky white with a cool grey cast. Around the pupil the color stays open, then deepens through the center-mid zone before the dots thin out toward the natural iris.
No solid wash, no heavy dark rim. The pattern is a fine jacquard mesh — tiny woven dots, like linen under glass — and the finish is matte-satin, not glassy.
What to Wear With White
-
Cream and oatmeal. Ivy ribbed knit, oatmeal wool trousers, tan loafers and brushed gold hoops keep the palette soft.
-
Charcoal and slate. A grey wool blazer over a black turtleneck, with a thin silver chain and matte grey nails.
-
Denim and crisp white. Light-wash straight jeans, a plain white tee, a chambray shirt worn open.
Where They Fit
Desk days, long flights, coffee runs and quiet dinners all work. They read as styling, not costume, so they also hold up in photos.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes, with one caveat. Keep makeup minimal — clear brow gel, cream blush, a nude lip — and the pale eye stays believable all day. If you prefer warm honey tones, this cool white-grey will feel wrong.
FAQ
Is this shade white or grey? Both, really — a milky white base with a cool grey cast and a dotted jacquard texture that softens it.
Which outfits work with them? Cream, oatmeal, charcoal, slate and crisp denim; silver reads cooler than gold here.
Can I wear them every day? Yes — this is one of the easier white contact lenses to wear on a normal day, in daylight and indoor light with minimal makeup. Skip them when you want a warm brown eye.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
