Quick answer

Halo Petal Pink Contact Lenses are a soft petal pink with a clear center and a blurred edge — they read like a filter on the eye, not a costume color.

What the Shade Looks Like

In the close-up, the base is a muted petal pink warmed by brown — never candy, never neon. The center stays clear, then the tint blooms outward in a fine, smooth wash: no dot mesh, no glitter, no drawn-on pattern. There is no hard rim either; the color softens and lets the natural iris edge show. Indoors it leans warmer, while daylight lifts the pink.

What to Wear With Pink

Keep the clothes quieter than the eyes and everything stays clean.

  1. Bare-skin neutrals. Cream ribbed knit, oatmeal linen trousers, bone-white sneakers, brushed gold hoops.
  2. Soft tailoring. A greige blazer, oyster silk shell, charcoal trousers, pearl studs.
  3. Evening in dusty rose. A rose satin slip dress, black cashmere cardigan, sheer berry lip.

Where They Fit

Daylight first: brunch, errands, a desk day, a long travel day when you want awake eyes with little makeup. They photograph well in window light with a bare lid. For a party or cosplay build they can sit under a heavier eye, but that isn’t their mood.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one note. These pink contact lenses blend into work, class and family photos without shouting. On mid-to-deep brown eyes the tint stays soft; on very light eyes it shows more, so keep makeup minimal and let the lens be the only color on your face.

FAQ

What color are these pink contact lenses? A muted petal pink with warm brown undertones and a clear center — a blush filter, not a bright pink.

What should I pair with them? Cream, oatmeal, greige and dusty rose stay editorial; gold and pearl accents flatter the warmth.

Are they subtle enough for everyday? Yes. There is no hard rim, so the outer edge disappears.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
