Quick Answer

Glitter Frost Cocoa Brown Contact Lenses are a warm cocoa brown that blurs into mocha at the edge — brown contact lenses with a soft 2000s finish, not a flat painted circle.

What the Shade Looks Like

The base is a warm cocoa brown, closest around the pupil and loosening into lighter mocha outward.

A fine dot mesh gives it that soft-focus look: evenly spaced specks, no printed graphic, nothing sparkly. The outer edge deepens slightly before it feathers off, so it reads as a soft boundary, not a hard ring. The mesh looks matte in the photo; the bright spot is flash, not gloss.

What to Wear With Brown

1. Frosty Blue Denim. Low-rise bootcut jeans, a cropped icy-blue baby tee. Silver hoops, thin brows, nude-pink gloss. Cool blue deepens the brown.

2. Chocolate Velour. A brown velour zip hoodie with matching pants over a plain white tank. Gold hoops, a thin gold chain, clear gloss. Brown on brown stays warm.

3. Pastel Butterfly Glam. A pink slip dress over a cropped mesh tee, butterfly clips, cherry gloss. Silver rings, soft lavender on the lids.

Where They Fit

These brown contact lenses live in daylight first — coffee runs, class, a desk day — where the mesh adds quiet richness. Add frosty highlight, gloss and low-rise denim for full Y2K flash-photo energy at parties and birthday dinners. Cosplay works too, for a darker, warmer eye.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes — with one condition: keep the makeup light. A thin brow, shimmer and gloss are plenty; heavy waterline liner makes the mesh look busier than it is. On bare skin they read natural. That range keeps them in rotation all week.

FAQ

What color are these brown contact lenses? A warm cocoa brown in the center that fades to lighter mocha near the edge, with a fine dot mesh and no hard ring.

What should I wear with them? Frosty blue denim cools the brown down; chocolate velour and gold hoops warm it up. Keep lips glossy.

Are they good for everyday? Yes — light y2k eye makeup blends them into a normal look. Save frost for nights out.

  • We recommend a rub and rinse before soaking soft lenses for a minimum of 6 hours in their container.

  • Don't wear your contact lenses in the shower or while swimming.
  • Don't reuse contact lens solution.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
