Quick answer

Glitter Frost Azure Blue Contact Lenses are a vivid, high-saturation azure pair with a deeper violet-blue edge — bold enough for flash photos, controlled enough for a normal day.

What the Shade Looks Like

The center is a clean, high-saturation azure that stays bright around the pupil, then eases into a deeper blue-violet toward the outer edge. The field is evenly pigmented and smooth, blending softly instead of sitting as a hard ring, so it reads closer to saturated eye makeup than to a sticker. Daylight keeps it true blue; camera flash pushes the violet edge forward.

What to Wear With Azure Blue

1. Frosted denim. Low-rise bootcut jeans, a cropped white tee, silver hoops, chunky sneakers, and a glossy pink lip.

2. Ice-princess silver. A silver slip dress, frosty white shimmer at the inner corners, thin brows, and a rhinestone choker.

3. Butterfly clips and baby blue. A mesh top, butterfly clips in the hair, iridescent shadow, beaded bracelets, and a denim mini.

Where They Fit

These blue contact lenses belong anywhere flash rules the photo: birthday parties, club nights, group selfies, travel shots, concert nights. For work or class, keep the rest of the face bare. Cosplay and conventions work too when you style the eyes as makeup rather than a character.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes — with a clean face. Bare skin, gloss, one coat of mascara, plus denim or black-and-white clothing keep the look styled rather than costumed. If you want quiet eyes at the office, save them for weekends.

FAQ

What color are these blue contact lenses? A vivid azure blue at the center with a deeper violet-blue edge, so the eye reads bright blue with a cool purple undertone.

What outfits pair with them? Silver and denim: low-rise jeans with a white tee, or a silver dress with frosty highlight and glossy lips.

Can I wear them every day? Yes, if the makeup stays minimal — the shade is bold and looks best when everything else is quiet.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
