Quick Answer
Frosted Jade Green Contact Lenses are a saturated green lens with a dark pine core that opens into a brighter jade mid-iris — flash-photo energy, not a painted circle.
What the Shade Looks Like
Up close, the center sits deep and forest-like, then lightens into a springy jade green through the mid-iris. The blend is smooth rather than dotted, the outer edge fades instead of stopping at a drawn line, and no black or grey rim frames the color. The finish reads matte rather than glossy, so the green melts into your natural iris like real pigment.
What to Wear With Green
-
Y2K Pop: Low-rise bootcut jeans, a white baby tee, silver hoops, frosted shadow, clear gloss.
-
Soft Everyday: A cream ribbed tank, a sage cardigan, straight-leg jeans, thin gold chains.
-
Night Flash: A black slip dress, silver jewelry, a slicked-back bun, berry gloss.
Where They Fit
Photo-heavy scenes are home base: a birthday dinner, a Y2K-themed night out, a concert, or a mirror selfie. They also work for weekend travel, and they’re an easy pick when cosplay styling calls for bright green eyes.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes, with one caveat — the green is vivid, so it reads as styling, not a bare-face neutral. With a little shadow and mascara in daylight it looks surprisingly wearable. Skip them when you want to blend in.
FAQ
What color are these green contact lenses? A saturated green — deep pine at the center, lighter through the mid-iris, no dark rim at the edge.
What should I wear with them? Low-rise denim and a baby tee for the 2000s look, or a cream tank with a sage cardigan. Silver keeps green cool; gold warms it.
Do they work for everyday? Yes, with shimmer shadow and mascara — the green leads the face. If you want invisible, this isn’t that pair.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
