Quick answer

Frosted Afterparty Cocoa Brown Contact Lenses are a warm cocoa brown pair with a clear center and a soft, rimless edge — easy to wear daily, and easy to push into Y2K glam with frosty highlight.

What the Shade Looks Like

In the close-up, the base is a medium cocoa brown that covers the whole iris with even depth. The center stays clear, so light catches the middle of the eye and the brown deepens gently outward. There is no visible dot mesh or graphic print, and no hard dark rim — the brown simply softens at the outer edge and lets your lash line do the framing. The finish is smooth and soft-focus.

What to Wear With Brown

1. Frosted girly. Champagne frosted shadow, sheer pink gloss, low-rise light-wash denim, a cropped ribbed tee in white or baby blue, and a thin silver chain.

2. Satin afterparty. A bias-cut satin slip in cream or chocolate, a fuzzy cropped cardigan, and gold hoops.

3. Soft grunge Y2K. Black baby tee, dark denim, a chunky belt, a patent mini bag, and smudged brown liner. Here the lens reads neutral and lets the black do the talking.

Where They Fit

Everyday places: work, class, errands, brunch. They also hold up in photos — birthday dinners, house parties, convention and cosplay looks. Under a flash, the clear center keeps the eye awake.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes. Brown is a quiet shade, not a statement color, so it fits daily life. It works when you want warmth without a loud shift. It is a weaker fit if you are after a graphic circle-lens look with a defined dark edge, because this one has none.

FAQ

What color is this lens? A warm cocoa brown with a clear center and no hard rim — soft and natural on the eye.

What should I pair with brown contact lenses? Light-wash denim, cream satin, a white tee, and one metal — silver for frost, gold for warmth.

Can I wear them every day? Yes. The brown is subtle enough for work, and the Y2K styling only shows up when you add frosty highlight and gloss.

  • Don't wear your contact lenses in the shower or while swimming.
  • Don't reuse contact lens solution.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
