Quick answer

Frosted Afterparty Caramel Brown Contact Lenses are a warm caramel brown pair with a clear center and a soft dotted mid-field — Y2K in flash photos, natural brown in daylight.

What the Shade Looks Like

The base is a warm caramel brown; the center stays clear, so the eye looks open and bright.

A fine dot mesh spreads outward in tiny, evenly spaced specks — powdery, not graphic, softening toward the edge.

There’s no hard band where the brown stops; the outer edge fades into a soft focus instead of a drawn ring.

In daylight and under flash the surface reads smooth and even, with no printed highlight.

What to Wear With Caramel Brown

1. Low-rise denim and a baby tee. Light-wash flares, a cropped ribbed tee, a brown leather belt, silver hoops, a thin brow and frosty shadow.

2. Chocolate brown with frost. A chocolate slip dress, icy lilac shadow, glossy lips and one thin silver chain.

3. All black, warm metal. Black baby tee, black mini, gold hoops, bronze shimmer at the collarbone, nude gloss.

Where They Fit

Office days, weekend errands, travel photos, dinner reservations — anywhere a soft warm eye works.

They carry parties too — birthdays, afterparties, flash-photo nights with frosted highlight and glossy lips, or a brown-eyed cosplay look without heavy graphics.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one condition: with simple makeup they settle into a natural warm brown for work, errands and travel. Skip them if you want a dramatic color flip — this is a warm enhancement, not a new eye color.

FAQ

What color are these brown contact lenses? Warm caramel brown — clear center, honeyed middle, faded outer edge.

What outfits suit them? Low-rise denim with a baby tee, chocolate brown with frosty makeup, or all black with gold jewelry.

Are they everyday or costume lenses? Everyday — fine dots and a gentle brown stay natural in daylight; a full pop-glam look is the dramatic version.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
