Quick Answer

Flashback Mocha Brown Contact Lenses give you a warm mocha center that fades smoothly into a lighter milky edge, so your eyes look richer without a costume feel.

What the Shade Looks Like

The close-up shows a medium warm brown at the center, lightening gradually toward the edge. The transition is clean but soft: no dark ring, no dot pattern, no mesh texture. There is no built-in sparkle on the lens, so the shine in your photos comes from highlighter and light — very frosty Y2K.

What to Wear With Brown

1. Low-rise denim and a baby tee. Frosty white tee, light-wash low-rise jeans, chunky silver hoops, a thin chain belt — cool denim makes the warm brown pop.

2. Frosty highlight and glossy lips. Frosted champagne shadow, cheekbone highlighter, thin brows, clear pink gloss. Brown eyes read softer next to frost.

3. Butterfly clips and a satin slip. Pale pink satin slip dress, tiny metallic bag, silver jewelry, two clips at the front, collarbone shimmer.

Where They Fit

Brunch, class, a desk job, and a 2000s party with the flash always on. They also work for cosplay when a character calls for a soft brown gaze.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, this is a real everyday brown — subtle enough for errands and office days, smooth enough that it never reads as novelty in daylight. It’s less of a fit when you want high-contrast color for a stage look.

FAQ

What color are these brown contact lenses? Warm medium brown at the center, softening to milky brown at the edge, with no dark rim and no printed dots.

What should I pair with them? Low-rise denim and silver hoops by day; a pink satin slip and frosted makeup for a flash-photo night.

Can I wear them every day? Yes — the smooth pattern sits quietly with bare skin and gloss. Go bolder when you want a statement.

Contact Lens Care Guidelines

  • We recommend a rub and rinse before soaking soft lenses for a minimum of 6 hours in their container.
  • Don't wear contact lenses overnight.
  • Don't wear your contact lenses in the shower or while swimming.
  • Don't reuse contact lens solution.
  • Don't use saline solution for contact lens cleaning or disinfection.
  • Replace your contact lens case every two to three months.
  • Take out your contacts if they are bothering you.
  • Never use saliva as a wetting agent.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
