Ethereal Misty Pearl Grey Colored Contacts
Listen, I need to tell you about these misty pearl grey contact lenses because they're honestly a game-changer! This isn't your typical dramatic color transformation - this is pure elegance wrapped in the most beautiful silvery-grey tone that'll have people wondering what your secret is.
The genius of these grey colored contacts is in their subtlety. They create this dreamy, almost ethereal effect that's like having morning fog kissed by sunlight right in your eyes. It's sophisticated without being overwhelming, mysterious without being dark - basically perfection in lens form!
These are your new best friend if:
- You're blessed with naturally dark eyes and want something that enhances rather than completely changes
- You love that "expensive taste" look but want it to feel effortless
- You're into that whole mysterious, artistic soul aesthetic (we see you!)
Perfect moments for these beauties:
- Coffee dates where you want to look naturally stunning
- Work presentations when you need that extra confidence boost
- Rainy day photoshoots for that moody, artistic vibe
- Literally any Tuesday when you're feeling fancy but not extra
What absolutely kills me about these grey contact lenses is how they work with every skin tone - like seriously, every single one! Fair skin? You'll look like a porcelain doll. Deeper tones? Pure goddess energy. The pearl undertones catch light in this way that makes your eyes look like they're holding secrets.
Trust me, once you experience the magic of having eyes that look like liquid silver, you'll never want to go back to ordinary!

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
