Quick Answer

Dragonfruit Sorbet Magenta Pink Contact Lenses are a saturated magenta-pink with a soft rim, and they make the eye the loudest part of any look. If you want pink contact lenses with real presence, build the outfit around them.

What the Shade Looks Like

The close-up shows a bright dragonfruit pink with a cool magenta lean. The middle stays lighter, then thickens into a denser ring at the edge. A fine dot mesh covers the surface, so the color reads stippled and juicy rather than flat. A clean round highlight sits where light hits — that is lighting, not a built-in shine. The rim is soft-edged and fades into the pink instead of drawing a hard circle.

What to Wear With Pink

  1. Black satin and silver. A slip dress, thin silver hoops, a berry lip — let the pink talk.
  2. Cream and camel. Ribbed cream sweater, oatmeal wide-leg trousers, gold jewelry; quiet neutrals make the pink one bright note.
  3. Washed denim and white. Denim jacket, white tee, pink gloss to echo the tone, chunky sneakers.

Where They Fit

Parties, concerts, and photo shoots are home ground for a pink this saturated. It also works for brunch or a travel day when you want one loud detail. Cosplay looks get the character work for free; a conservative office will not.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one caveat: this is a visible pink, not a subtle tint. It works everyday when your outfit stays neutral and the color is the statement. For interviews, a softer pink serves better.

Contact Lens Care Guidelines

  • We recommend a rub and rinse before soaking soft lenses for a minimum of 6 hours in their container.
  • Don't wear contact lenses overnight.
  • Don't wear your contact lenses in the shower or while swimming.
  • Don't reuse contact lens solution.

  • Replace your contact lens case every two to three months.
  • Take out your contacts if they are bothering you.
  • Never use saliva as a wetting agent.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
