Quick answer

Crimson Orbit Emerald Green Contact Lenses are a bold statement pair: a deep emerald field, a scarlet ring around the middle, and a dark edge that frames the iris. Green contact lenses like these read styled, not subtle.

What the Shade Looks Like

The green covers the center and mid-iris evenly, with no dots, mesh, or speckled gradient. Inside it sits a solid scarlet ring that circles the middle like a painted bullseye, and that ring is what people notice first.

The outer edge turns dark — a deep green-black rim that closes the lens and frames the iris. Because the rim is dark rather than bright, green stays dominant and the red reads as an accent. The finish reads smooth and solid rather than glittery.

What to Wear With Green

1. Forest tones with gold. A forest-green ribbed knit, a camel wool coat, and small gold hoops keep the palette tonal.

2. Black leather with silver. A black turtleneck, a cropped leather jacket, silver chains, and dark denim let the scarlet ring do the talking.

3. Scarlet accents. A cherry-red blazer over white cotton or a red satin scarf echoes the ring. Keep the rest neutral.

Where They Fit

Photo shoots, costume parties, concerts, Halloween looks, and street-style photos are the natural home for this pair. They also suit a bold weekend brunch or a night out.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one honest caveat: the green reads as stylized, not natural. Treat these as a fashion accessory — great on weekends, for creative work, or whenever you are dressing up. Skip them when you want a quiet, natural eye.

FAQ

What color are these green contact lenses? Deep emerald green with a solid scarlet ring and a dark green-black outer edge.

What should I wear with them? Forest green and gold for a tonal look, black leather and silver for contrast, or a red accent to echo the ring.

Can I wear them every day? Yes, but the design is graphic. They suit weekends, parties, and shoots better than a low-key office day.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
