Quick answer

Chrome Blossom Pink Contact Lenses are a hazy rose-pink with a warm blurred core and no hard outer ring, so they read as a soft pink wash, not a graphic print.

What the Shade Looks Like

Up close, the lens is a dusty rose-pink that stays slightly milky across the mid iris. Color moves from a warmer, faintly brown-tinged core out into a cooler pink haze, and the transition is clear but fully blended. No dot print, no mesh, no sparkle, no glossy highlight, no dark rim — the pink simply fades out at the edge.

What to Wear With Pink Contact Lenses

Pink this hazy is easy to style.

  1. Y2K night out: low-rise bootcut denim, a fitted logo tee, a cropped zip hoodie, chunky silver hoops; frosted white shadow, thin brows, clear gloss lips.
  2. Soft daytime: a cream ribbed tank, a washed pink cardigan, straight-leg jeans, a small shoulder bag; rose blush, satin pink lip, one butterfly clip.
  3. Polished work: a grey blazer, a white tee, black tailored trousers, small gold studs; taupe shadow and nude gloss keep the pink quiet.

Where They Fit

Desk days, class, and travel all work, since the pink stays soft, not neon. Party flash photos, birthday dinners, and shoot days bring the haze out, and cosplay looks can lean on it too.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes — this is a wearable everyday pink. Keep the rest of your makeup soft and let the lenses be the one colorful element. Skip it when you want a bold, high-contrast eye; this shade blurs instead of announcing.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
