Quick Answer

Chiffon Peony Pink Contact Lenses are a soft rose-pink wash over warm brown — pink contact lenses made for soft glam makeup, not costume.

What the Shade Looks Like

Up close, the base is a muted rose pink with a warm brown undertone. The center stays clear, the color builds gently through the middle of the lens and softens toward the edge.

No dot or mesh pattern and no hard outer ring — the blend is smooth and airbrushed rather than painted on.

What to Wear With Pink

Keep the same soft register as the lens — blended shadow, fluttery lashes, glowing skin.

1. Champagne bridal. Champagne silk, ivory chiffon, pearl studs, a slim gold band and a rose-nude lip.

2. Slate evening. A charcoal suit over a blush satin cami, silver hoops and plum shadow blended out.

3. Soft weekend. Cream knit, camel trench, taupe denim, bronze jewelry and a sheer lip gloss.

Where They Fit

These pink contact lenses suit anywhere flash and blended shadow are in play: weddings, rehearsal dinners, prom, portraits. At the office they add a quiet rosy lift under light liner, and on travel days they polish a bare-lid look. A themed party works too, worn under bold liner.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one caveat. With tinted moisturizer, mascara and a sheer lip, the rose-pink wash stays subtle enough for errands, class and office days. Heavy liner or a deep red lip shifts it into evening.

FAQ

What color are these pink contact lenses? A muted rose pink over a warm brown base, with a clear center and a soft fade at the edge.

What should I wear with them? Champagne, ivory, cream, blush and slate grey. Keep metals gold, bronze or pearl, and blend the shadow.

Can I wear them daily? Yes, on soft glam days. If your makeup runs bold, save them for evening.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
