Quick answer

Cashmere Toffee Brown Contact Lenses are brown contact lenses with a warm toffee center and a fine dotted blend that reads like a warmer version of your own eye.

What the Shade Looks Like

The close-up shows a lighter warm brown just off the pupil that deepens into toffee toward the outer edge. The color sits in a fine dotted mesh, so the blend stays soft instead of banded.

There is no hard outer ring — the edge dissolves into the natural iris — and a gentle gloss gives the eye a wet, lit-from-underneath shine.

What to Wear With Toffee Brown

1. Cream, oatmeal, camel. An oatmeal knit, cream trousers, tan flats, and small gold hoops keep the look in the toffee’s sunlit family.

2. White tee, denim, silver. A white tee, mid-wash denim, a grey blazer, and brushed silver earrings make the brown read deeper.

3. Espresso and ink. A chocolate blazer or black slip dress with a sheer berry lip; deep tones push the toffee brighter, so keep liner light.

Where They Fit

This is a beauty-lane lens, not a costume one: office days, brunch, coffee runs, travel, video calls, natural-light photos. Party or cosplay styling works only when the makeup stays soft.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one caveat. The toffee center shows in close-up, so it is not invisible, and the dotted texture makes the color deliberate. In daylight with tinted moisturizer, cream blush, and a clear brow, it lands as “my eyes, warmer.” Skip it for smoky eyes.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
