Quick answer

Cameo Peach Brown Contact Lenses are warm peach-champagne brown lenses with a fine dot fade and a feathered rim — my pick for round, doll-bright eyes that still look natural in daylight.

What the Shade Looks Like

Deep warm brown sits at the center and opens into a peachy champagne mid-zone, which is where the glow comes from. The pattern is a fine halftone dot mesh: airy through the middle, packed tighter toward the edge, and that density builds the ring. The border is feathered rather than drawn, so brown deepens instead of ending in a hard line.

What to Wear With Brown

1. Ribbon-and-cream coquette. Ivory satin slip dress, pointelle cardigan, a thin ribbon in the hair, pearl studs.

2. Rosy daytime doll. Blush pink blouse, grey pleated skirt or cropped tweed, small gold hoops, ballet flats.

3. Evening lace. Black lace over burgundy velvet, fine silver chain, rosy blush, satin bow.

Where They Fit

Desk days, coffee runs, weekend portraits and travel photos are the easy ones. Parties and soft cosplay styling work too when the mood is doll-like rather than character-led.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with one caveat: keep makeup light to medium and stay in warm tones — cream, blush, camel, soft grey. Then they read as an enhancement, not a costume. If you want an obvious color switch, this is not that lens.

FAQ

What color are these lenses? Warm brown with a peach-champagne middle and a deeper cocoa center, so the effect is luminous brown rather than flat chocolate.

What should I wear with them? Cream, blush and ivory bring out the coquette side; black lace, burgundy and silver make them evening-ready.

Can I wear them every day? Yes, for most everyday looks with soft makeup; the dots blend at normal viewing distance.

  • Don't reuse contact lens solution.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
