Quick Answer

Camellia Mist White Contact Lenses are a soft white-grey lens with a dotted mesh center and a slim charcoal rim — built for soft glam makeup, bridal parties and camera-ready evenings, not costume.

What the Shade Looks Like

The close-up shows a misted white-grey base, not chalk white. A dotted pixel-mesh covers the center and mid-field, breaking the color into tiny points that fade toward your own iris. The center stays open and dark. A narrow charcoal rim frames the outer edge, which keeps the pale field defined rather than milky.

What to Wear With White

  1. Bridal soft glam: an ivory satin slip or cream column gown, buffed champagne shadow, fluttery lashes, nude lip and pearl studs.
  2. Luxury evening: a black satin midi or charcoal slip with a velvet blazer, brushed silver cuff and a smoked brown eye.
  3. Everyday polish: a grey knit, white tee under an oatmeal blazer, soft brown liner and tinted balm. Keep metals minimal.

Where They Fit

Weddings, engagement dinners, prom and studio beauty shoots all suit this lens, and it carries a polished workday too. Cosplay works for pale-eyed characters, but the mesh reads glam, not costume.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes. With neutral makeup and simple clothes, Camellia Mist reads as a cool, polished accent for the office, errands and dinner. On bare skin with no eye makeup it can look unfinished, and neon shadow pushes it costumey.

FAQ

What color are these white contact lenses? A white-grey with a dotted mesh and a charcoal outer rim; the translucent center lets your own iris tones show through.

What should I wear with them? Cool neutrals — ivory, cream, pearl, charcoal and black — with silver or pearl jewelry.

Can I wear them every day? Yes — keep the makeup soft and save bold liner for evenings.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
