Quick answer

Blackberry Frost Pink Contact Lenses are pink contact lenses with berry-violet depth instead of bubblegum pastel — dramatic up close, playful in flash photos, never costume.

What the Shade Looks Like

The close-up shows a deep blackberry center around a clear pupil opening, shifting gradually into pink-plum through the mid-iris. A fine halftone dot pattern carries the color outward, so the transition reads soft and printed rather than painted on. There is no hard black rim; the outer edge diffuses into a satin finish with one small catch-light.

What to Wear With Blackberry Pink

1. Frosted denim — low-rise straight jeans, a cropped white baby tee, a pink moto jacket, silver hoops, frosted pink shadow.

2. Glossy afterparty — a bias-cut satin slip skirt, a shrunken cardigan, glossy mauve lips, thin brows, a chrome bag.

3. Flash-photo pop — a black mini dress, sheer pink tights, silver platform sandals, butterfly clips, pale blush, clear gloss.

Where They Fit

Birthday dinners, concerts, photo booths, and nights that end in flash photography. In creative offices they read as a deliberate choice against clean skin and one pink accent. For cosplay, keep the styling modern and pop-star rather than character-specific.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes, with a boundary — weekends, casual creative settings, and photos with simple makeup: thin brows, balm, one pink accent. They don’t work for conservative offices, interviews, or bare-faced days, where the berry depth is simply too much.

FAQ

Are these pink or purple? Both, in sequence: blackberry-violet in the center, pink-plum through the middle, no dark rim.

What outfits suit pink contact lenses? Low-rise denim, baby tees, and silver jewelry by day; satin, gloss, and cool highlighter by night.

Can I wear them daily? On casual and creative days, yes — skip them for formal settings where a neutral eye is the goal.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
