Quick Answer
Aurora Silk Pink Contact Lenses are a vivid rose pink with a violet-leaning core and an airy rimless fade. For pink contact lenses that read polished instead of costume, this is the pair to build a clean beauty look around.
What the Shade Looks Like
Full coverage pink. A deep violet-pink pools around the pupil, then lifts into a brighter candy rose mid-iris. A fine dotted pattern softens the surface so it reads as iris texture rather than a flat disc. The outer edge fades airily — no dark ring, no hard line — and the finish stays smooth and matte, with a small clean highlight where light lands.
What to Wear With Pink Lenses
-
Soft Glam Neutrals: ivory cashmere crewneck, cream wide-leg trousers, gold hoops, nude-rose lip — the pink stays the only color statement.
-
Violet Evening: lilac satin slip dress or a plum blazer over a black silk camisole, silver jewelry, cool rose blush — the violet core ties it together.
-
Cool Street Casual: washed grey denim jacket, white tee, black ankle boots, thin silver chain; or go tonal in a baby-pink knit and pale denim.
Where They Fit
Office days with a neutral outfit, weekend errands, travel photos, birthday dinners, bridal shoots, and party or cosplay styling where a pink iris is part of the look. They read the same in daylight and in flash.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes — with one condition: keep the rest of the look quiet. Tinted moisturizer, soft rose blush and one coat of mascara are enough. It works with a blazer and jeans on a weekday and a white tee on a weekend. On days you want your eyes to disappear, save these for later; this pink is pigmented and meant to be seen.
FAQ
What color are these pink contact lenses? A vivid candy pink with a deeper violet center; strongest mid-iris, soft at the edge.
What should I wear with them? Cream, ivory, grey, black, lilac and plum all work. Gold flatters the rose, silver flatters the violet lean.
Can I wear them every day? Yes, if your makeup stays simple. Skip them when you want a bare, no-fuss eye.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
