Quick answer
Aurora Silk Cocoa Brown Contact Lenses are soft-glam brown contact lenses: a milky cocoa wash with a soft-focus edge, made for weddings, dinners and camera-ready evenings.
What the Shade Looks Like
The base is a milky cocoa brown, a touch deeper around the center, so the middle anchors the eye while the mid zone opens into a lighter tan-brown. Color moves outward gradually — there is no hard outer band, and your own lash line reads as the edge.
A fine dot mesh carries the brown across the iris and stays soft-focus up close. The finish is quiet: no metallic flash and no bright rim highlight competing with your eyeshadow.
What to Wear With Brown
Brown acts like a neutral, so it takes color well.
-
Champagne bridal soft glam. Ivory satin slip dress, thin gold hoops, pearl studs, champagne shimmer on the lid, glossy nude-brown lip.
-
Evening polish. Black column dress or a chocolate silk blazer over a camel knit, bronze shadow, one gold cuff.
-
Weekend neutral. Cream turtleneck, camel wool coat, straight-leg denim, brushed silver hoops, peach blush.
Where They Fit
Office days, coffee runs and travel all work, because the brown stays close to everyday makeup. They also carry a camera: bridal portraits, prom photos, birthday dinners and evening events where the eye should look finished, not theatrical.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes. With a light wash of shadow and mascara they stay polished instead of obvious. I would skip them on a fully bare-face morning, when your natural color does the job better.
FAQ
What color are these brown contact lenses? A warm, milky cocoa brown with a slightly deeper center and a blended, soft-focus edge.
What makeup suits them? Champagne or bronze shadow, fluttery lashes and a nude-brown gloss; warm brown lifts gold and peach tones especially well.
Can I wear them to work? Yes — keep makeup minimal by day, then add a bronze lid for evening without changing the lens.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
