Quick answer
Aqua Lagoon Green Contact Lenses are a deep blue-green pair with a fine dot mesh and a slim dark rim, and they are easy to wear on a normal day.
What the Shade Looks Like
The base is a deep blue-green that leans ocean rather than grass. The center sits darkest, opens into a lighter aqua mid-field, and closes with a slim dark rim at the edge.
A fine dot mesh runs through the color, so the blend looks soft up close instead of flat. Nothing glossy is printed on the lens; shine in photos is just light bouncing. Daylight pulls the aqua forward, while indoor light keeps it deeper and bluer.
What to Wear With Green
-
Low-rise denim and a baby tee. Faded indigo bootcuts, a cropped ribbed tee, silver hoops, frosty inner-corner highlight.
-
Ice-grey satin and a frosty eye. An icy satin slip dress with frosted shadow, thin brows and a clear gloss lip.
-
Chocolate brown and cream. Brown leather over a cream knit with gold hoops — warm neutrals push the cool blue-green forward.
Where They Fit
Treat them as a beauty accessory, not a costume. They suit birthday dinners, photo-booth strips and flash-heavy afterparties, where the blue-green catches every pop of light. They also work for travel photos, campus days in jeans, and cosplay styling when you want stylized eyes without a full character build.
Everyday Wear: Yes
Yes. These green contact lenses are easy on a normal Tuesday — the dark rim keeps the color intentional with plain denim, a white tee and mascara. Skip them on a fully bare-faced day.
FAQ
Are they green or blue? Both: a deep blue-green, darkest in the center, lighter aqua in the mid-field, with a slim dark rim.
What should I wear with them? Faded denim, icy grey satin or warm chocolate brown, with silver or gold metals.
Can I wear these green contact lenses every day? Yes, with a little makeup — the fine dot mesh blends softly, so the color reads smooth rather than painted on.

Understanding Your Prescription
-
Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
- OD - Right Eye
- OS - Left Eye
- OU - Both Eyes
-
SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
-
BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
-
DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)
Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses
Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:
-
CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
-
AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)
Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes
- Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
- BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
