Quick answer

Afterparty Cocoa Rose Pink Contact Lenses are a warm cocoa-brown lens with a rose-pink lean and a soft, rimless blend — Y2K drama in the color, not the texture.

What the Shade Looks Like

This is a brown lens with pink running through it: deep cocoa at the center, loosening into lighter rose-tinged amber toward the outer iris, so the transition blurs instead of striping. A fine dot grain shows up close but softens into an even wash at arm’s length. No hard outer rim, no thrown highlight — just a smooth surface and full coverage that still blends.

What to Wear With Pink

  1. Low-rise and frost. Light-wash bootcut jeans, a cropped baby tee, a thin silver chain, frosty highlighter on the cheekbone. The rose edge of the lens echoes the frost.
  2. Gloss and baby pink. A pink satin cami or slip dress with a glossy pink lip, frosted eyeshadow, and silver hoops. Keep the face cool-toned so the cocoa center anchors.
  3. Cool contrast. Black cargos, a grey baby tee, a cropped leather jacket, chunky silver jewelry. The pink reads afterparty, not prom.

Where They Fit

Errands, class, coffee runs, and office days — the cocoa base behaves with minimal makeup and a nude lip. Photos are the sweet spot: flash, birthdays, rooftops, festivals, Y2K nights out. Parties and cosplay styling work too, more pop-star than costume.

Everyday Wear: Yes

Yes. The brown center keeps this grounded, so it works for daily wear. Skip it only when you want your natural eye color to lead, since the coverage is full rather than sheer.

FAQ

What shade are these pink contact lenses? Deep cocoa brown that lightens to rose-tinged amber at the edge — brown first, pink second.

What pairs well with them? Low-rise denim and a baby tee by day, a pink slip dress and glossy lip by night, black cargos and silver jewelry for contrast.

Are they everyday-appropriate? Yes — the muted cocoa base sits calmly with minimal makeup; plan around the full coverage.

Typical Contact Lens Prescription

Eye Power/SPH BC DIA CYL
OD (Right) -2.25 8.8 14.0 -1.25
OS (Left) -3.00 8.8 14.0 -1.25

Understanding Your Prescription

  • Eye - Which eye the prescription line item is for:
    • OD - Right Eye
    • OS - Left Eye
    • OU - Both Eyes
  • SPH - Sphere (this can also be referred to as Power or PWR)
  • BC - Base Curve (usually a number between 8 and 10)
  • DIA - Diameter (usually a number between 13 and 15)

Toric (Astigmatism Correcting) Lenses

Some patients require lenses that are toric or astigmatism correcting. Prescriptions for these types of lenses will also contain two additional numbers that relate to the correction of the astigmatism. These two numbers are usually separated by an "X" and read as "times", they are indicated with the following symbols/abbreviations:

  • CYL - Cylinder (usually a number between -4.00 and +4.00)
  • AX - Axis (usually a number between 0 and 180)

Additional Contact Lens Prescription Notes

  • Your prescription will also contain an expiration date. This is typically one year from the date that the contact lenses were fitted.
  • BC values range from about 8.0 to 10.0. The doctor fits the lens with the curvature most appropriate for your eye. Most lenses come in several different BC values. If your prescription does not contain a BC value, this is likely because your brand of lens only comes in one base curve.
